About
Hope Seeds is certified organic, growing garden seeds, planting stock and fresh produce. We sell our seeds through mail-order, retail displays, and online. Our fresh produce is available at the farm gate, the Riverside Park Market in Florenceville-Bristol (Thursdays, July to September), and through Buckwheat Flats local food delivery. Local restaurants also serve our produce including Fresh Fine Dining in Florenceville-Bristol, and The Pulse Cafe in the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. One acre of certified organic seed production and variety trials amidst the rolling hills and Acadian forests of Carleton County. In addition to our Farm, we manage a sustainable woodlot, which provides materials for our on-site wood working shop and serving as our source of fuel for our year round wood stove and hot water. Hope Seed’s sources seed from organic farms and growers in Eastern Canada, as part of our dedication to supporting a sustainable local food system. We aim to offer a wide range of products, highlighting unique, rare and flavorful heritage varieties.
